This is really all you need to know about Loki’s character in Young Avengers
This is too accurate not reblog. I don’t know what’s going on, I don’t. Wait. Loki.
Loki?

Okay so I’m pretty sure if I put on a green tunic straight out of the shower I’d look like Thor 2 Loki. And I’m saying this as a fact, my hair looks black when wet, my skin’s pasty as unbaked dough and my undereye circles can be seen from the moon
In this white wave, I am sinking,
In this silence…
In this white wave, In this silenceI believe…
I have seen you, In this white wave,
You are silent…
You are breathing, In this white wave…
I am free…
Reblogging this not just because this is super-good fanart of my OTP, but I love the fact this song is used because I’ve actually had it playing when writing/thinking about fanfic of them.
The Children of Odin, The Book of Northern Myths by Padriac Colum.

I find hilariously fitting that Loki’s depicted (especially in the last one) as being lanky with a strong profile an curly hair.
So I’ve had an idea float in my head about the relationship between Norse Myth!versions of Loki and Hel and I thought of him as having lost all favor with the gods, so he tries to be “I’m not a regular dad, I’m a cool dad” in hopes his daughter might like him, but instead he spoils her rotten.
“YOU NEVER GIVE ME ANYTHING I WANT, DADDY”
“I gave you a pony once. Not every girl has a pony”
“Yeah, and it had EIGHT LEGS. I want to hang out with the Valkyries, unlike you, they’re fun and they pick out cute boys that come to my place!”
“And the only reason I haven’t complained about that is because dead guys can’t get you pregnant.”
